Chapter 10 - Amy

The morning comes too soon, and I find myself waking to a weight around my middle. Looking down, I smile to see Faustino’s arm, hugging me close to his chest. With a sigh, I roll over and kiss his eyes and cheeks, working my way down to his neck by the time he wakes. Yawning, he smiles at me and leans down to kiss my nose.

“Good morning, gorgeous.”

“Morning, Faustino. How’d you sleep?”

“Better than I ever have in my entire life,” he says.

I smile and kiss him again before standing and stretching. “As much as I’d love to just lie here with you, you should probably get going before Dad comes home.”

Nodding, he stands up and stretches unabashedly. I can’t help but look at him, and he grins when he catches me staring at his perfect form, my gaze stalling at his cock, standing at attention. He raises an eyebrow and walks closer to me.

Groaning, I toss him his boxers. “Cover that thing, it’s distracting.”

“You weren’t complaining last night,” he whispers against my cheek, nuzzling me, but I push him back.

“And I’m not complaining now, but you need to get going before Dad kills us both.”

Faustino grins and tugs on his boxers. I sigh, half in disappointment and half in relief, and grab the rest of his clothes. Downstairs, I hear the front door slam, and I groan. I push Faustino’s clothes into his arms and glance at the door urgently.

“You have to go, Faust!”

He nods and quickly tugs on his clothes before crossing to the window. At the window, he pulls me into his arms and kisses me firmly, taking my breath away.

“Amy.” He rests his forehead against mine for a second. “Call me? Please?”

“Of course. I’ll talk to Dad and then give you a call.” I swallow nervously and glance at the door. “Faustino?”

“Yes, love?”

I can’t help but smile at the endearment and kiss him again. “If Dad won’t let us be together…”

He shakes his head. “We’ll find a way. We’re meant to be, Amy. Mates. Life-mates.”

Butterflies invade my stomach, and I smile at him.

“No matter what, I want to see you tonight, okay?” he says.

I nod, and Faustino kisses me one last time before sliding out the window and climbing down. Just as he hits the ground, a knock at my door startles me. Quietly, I close the window and clear my throat.

“Yes?”

“Ames, it’s me,” sounds Dad’s voice from the other side of the door. “Can I come in?”

“I’m about to hop into the shower. Can it wait?”

“Yeah, sure,” he responds. “Come talk to me when you’re done. I’ll be in the office.”

“Okay, Dad.” I sigh with relief as he walks away and cross to my bathroom to take a shower. Reluctantly, I start to scrub Faustino’s scent from my skin.

After my shower, I gently knock on Dad’s office door, worried about what he wants.

“Come in,” his deep voice calls from inside the room. Carefully, I inch the door open and peek inside before entering the room.
